There were so many of you involved with the care of my father, I cannot address this letter to just one person.

I am no stranger to the world of nursing homes and assisted living facilities, but I can tell you that the care and compassion exhibited by each and every one of you far exceeded my expectations. You are truly the “gems” and I cannot thank you enough for all that you did for my father.

Our mother has been a resident of Salida Woods wince January, 2005. There were many reasons why we chose Salida Woods, to provide her with the care she requires.

The close proximity to our home combined with the beautiful exterior of the building and the grounds, along with the spotless interior made this a perfect fit. We were concerned that this move would be a traumatic experience for her, but the whole staff welcomed her to her new home.

I have never met a more cheerful and professional group of people, from the administration, kitchen, nursing, caregivers, maintenance and front desk.
