YES!  We can assist residents who utilize walkers, wheelchairs, or need the support of our professionally trained caregivers in transferring from bed to chair or moving throughout our Community.
YES!  We can organize your Personal Care Plan to accommodate you in the need of our support with bladder and bowel management programs.  There’s lots of ways this common challenge for older adults can be managed in a private and dignified manner to assist our residents to remain living independently in our Community.
YES!  Our “Memory Care Program” provides specialized approaches at every LifeServices Community that can assist many older adults who are struggling with diseases and disorders that compromise their short term memory.  Our “Memory Care Program” includes a number of approaches, from architectural design, such as an outdoor, secure courtyard, delayed exiting systems, and circular pathways, to specialized resident activities programs, and, also cognitive support training of our caregivers.  All of these Community features assist residents struggling with these disorders to remain part of our overall Community in their own apartment home rather than be placed in a secure dementia unit or in an institutional facility.
YES!  Our Community has any number of residents who benefit from the services of physical therapists, speech therapists, and others on an as needed basis, particularly after a short term hospital stay.  We support each resident’s choice as to any of several local community home health agencies that can provide professionals who visit our residents in their own apartment homes or in our Community Commons..  Also, our Community has a full time, Registered Nurse Care Manager, who oversees the health care delivered to our residents and coordinates care with these home health agencies and the resident’s own personal physician.  Finally, most of our Communities also have licensed practical nurses who can provide basic nursing services, such as dressing changes, as well as select, trained caregivers who can also assist residents under the specific direction and supervision of our Registered Nurse Care Manager.
YES!  At our Community, our Simple Monthly Fee is based upon the style of the Apartment Home you or your loved one chooses.  And, our Simple Monthly Fee includes the use of the Apartment Home, all utilities, three meals per day, weekly linen service, scheduled transportation, all Community activities, and all the hands-on personal care that most residents need when they first join us.
